I can’t say I’m surprised… All that is known as of now is Wiz was arrested at Eastern Carolina University after his show. He was allegedly busted for posession of a controlled substance. Update: Reports are still sketchy, but here is what AllHipHop is reporting:

Early reports state that Wiz Khalifa was at a show at East Carolina University when police reportedly stopped his show 45 minutes into his set. He was arrested later, as he attempted to board his tour bus. Sources suggest the arrest is related to Khalifa’s penchant for smoking marijuana.

There are also rumors going around that police found 30, yes thats three-zero, pounds of marijuana on his tour bus.

Uneducated Sidenote: Marijuana is a ‘schedule 1′ drug in the eyes of the law (Schedule 1 drugs have the steepest penalties). With 30 pounds I don’t see how you avoid intent to deliver charges. Here’s what that means…

Possession with intent to deliver marijuana is a Class I felony. If this is a first criminal conviction, you will face up to 12 months in state prison. However, if you have any prior convictions on your record, this potential sentence is increased. Source

Although, because of the money Wiz has, he will most likely be able to get off with probation like most first time offenders.

I have no idea if authorities could prove he went across state lines with drugs or if they care, but that would be considered ‘trafficking.’ 30 Pounds (about 14 kilos) gets you this…
